The Animal Edition

Getting ready to visit the animals!

This past weekend I had a chance to visit the Emmett County Fair. I have written about my love of fairs, and this fair in particular before. An American fair is vastly different from those held in the UK.

Over the next two weeks I will be traveling on a new adventure which I will write about when I return. In the meantime, please enjoy these photos of the animals I saw at the fair this year.

I'm not sure if this chicken can see under that mass of feathers.

This chicken felt obligated to pose for my camera.

This hen proved to me that the back can be just as beautiful as the front.

I'm not a huge fan of bunnies in cages but this one had a smart look on its face.

This horse was interested in me (the sign out of view said 'I bite!'

A three-pig pen.

Are they Oreos or pigs? Whatever they are they're adorable.

These pigs were oblivious to all the noise around them.

There is something endearing to me about a pig snout. This one tried to eat my shirt like a goat!

This bovine was soft and silky to the touch. I think its owner used conditioner!

A smart reminder to over-achiever parents.
